Case study · Local marketing
Building the online presence of a South Florida window cleaner
Since September 2026, I've built Streakless Shine Window Cleaning's website, Google Business Profile, listings, ads and tracking. Here's what that work includes and what Google reports so far.
Streakless Shine is owned by my brother. I built and manage its digital marketing presence and am sharing this as a transparent example of my ongoing work.
"Henry built our website and online presence and helped us present our services more professionally. I'm grateful for the time and care he's put into helping the business."
How to read these numbers
- Business Profile: August–September 2026 compared with August–September 2025. Search Console: last 3 months compared with the same period last year, as reported in October 2026.
- Both windows include time before this work began in September, so they show improved visibility on Google, not what this work alone caused.
- Profile actions, such as calls and website visits, aren't the same as confirmed leads or sales.
- Campaign results aren't included yet. The tracking is in place, and Google Analytics needs internal visits filtered out first.

The situation
Streakless Shine cleans windows, sliding doors and storefronts, and pressure-washes driveways and pool decks, across 11 cities in South Florida. Most of its customers find a service like this the same way: they search Google for window cleaning nearby.
For a small company, that means competing with bigger operators and national directories for the same few searches. Google only shows a business when it's sure what the business does and where it works.
What I built
I built and manage every piece below. The work falls into four areas: the website, listings and profiles, campaigns, and measurement.
- Residential windows
- Condo windows & sliders
- Commercial windows
- Pressure washing
- Sunrise
- Fort Lauderdale
- Tamarac
- Coral Springs
- Parkland
- Coconut Creek
- Weston
- Plantation
- Davie
- Southwest Ranches
- Boca Raton
- Condo quote page (Sunny Isles and Aventura)

Website and local SEO
Why it matters: Google can match the business to each service and each city.
- Built the website, with service pages for residential windows, condo windows and sliding doors, commercial windows, and pressure washing.
- Wrote 11 city pages with their own titles and descriptions, linked to the services, service areas and quote pages. Each covers local conditions, like HOA rules in Weston and 55+ communities in Tamarac.
- Added business details Google can read (structured data): address, hours, service areas and services.
- Built a condo quote page for the Sunny Isles and Aventura campaigns, with the service scope, access limitations, phone links and a form.
Listings and profiles
Why it matters: people find the same, accurate details wherever they look.
- Set up the Google Business Profile and built out listings on Apple Maps, Yelp, BBB, Houzz, Angi, Thumbtack and MapQuest.
- Set up social profiles and developed branded content for them.
Campaigns and creative
Why it matters: ads reach condo owners and homeowners beyond organic search.
- Google Ads: a condo-focused Display campaign, later moved to Demand Gen, with placement exclusions to keep ads off poor-fit sites.
- Meta: "Before/After Video" and "Free Quote Image" ads, with copy variations and a free-quote offer, followed by a lead form.
- Branded images and short videos made from the owner's photos and job-site footage. Some condo ads use edited settings and are illustrative.
- Outreach in local Facebook groups, and plans for Nextdoor and residential campaigns.
Measurement
Why it matters: decisions rest on calls and quote requests, not guesses.
- Set up Google Tag Manager, GA4, Google Ads conversions, the Meta Pixel and campaign URL tags.
- Tracked phone-number clicks and successful form submissions, and confirmed both events arrive in GA4 Realtime.

What Google reports so far
On Google itself, the business profile was viewed 290 times on Search and Maps in August and September 2026, up 13.3% on the same months of 2025. People took 125 actions on it, such as calls, website visits and direction requests, up 25.0%.

On Google Search, a three-month Search Console comparison with the same period last year shows clicks rising from 9 to 24 and impressions from about 1,240 to about 2,250. Click-through rate rose from 0.7% to 1.1%, and average position improved from 49.9 to 18.5, roughly from page 5 of the results to page 2.

The searches are relevant ones. Clicks for "window cleaning near me" went from 0 to 4, and the site now appears for searches like "residential window cleaning in Weston FL." One number moved the other way. As Google showed the site to more people searching "window cleaning near me," its average position for that search went from 2.5 to 14.6.
What's next
- Update this case study with September–October 2026 figures, which mostly cover the period after the work began.
- Filter internal visits out of Google Analytics, so campaign results can be reported accurately.
- Run the planned Nextdoor and residential campaigns.
- Add a quote form to the homepage, for visitors who'd rather not call.
- Keep growing Google reviews and mentions on local sites.
